SPRING INTO SUMMER STREET PARTY

 Shag Festival with THE BAND OF OZ.  IF YOU HAVEN’T HEARD OR DANCED TO THE BAND OF OZ, YOU JUST AIN’T BEEN PAYING ATTENTION.  May 19th, 2012, 6:30-11:00 pm.  Shag lessons by the Richmond Shag Club from 6:30-7:30.  Also, we will be celebrating the 100th Birthday of our neighbors Cross Brother’s Grocery.  Presented by Ashland Street Parties and The Hanover Mental Health Association.

Circle this date on your calendar… Saturday, June 16, 2012 ! What a night this is going to be as two Richmond Music legends electrify the Ashland Street Parties Stage. Co-sponsored by The Ashland Kiwanis Club, the party at the “Center of the Universe” proudly presents Beach Music Hall of Fame members, Ron Moody and the Centaurs along with their very special guest, Steve Bassett, for an amazing night of Rock & Soul. A “limited edition” CD Single written, produced, and performed by Ron & Steve will be available for the very first time ever, so get there early to get your very own autographed copy! Show time is 6:30 -11:00 PM at the Ashland Library Plaza…don’t miss this night of musical history!!   1st 100 ticketed patrons through the Railroad entrance will receive an autographed cd at no charge

THE ROLLING STONES ARE NOT AVAILABLE, NEITHER ARE THE BEATLES, YARDBIRDS, IRON BUTTERFLY OR DARYL HALL (we did negotiate with him, maybe next year).  SO WHAT DID WE DO, WE HAVE CONTRACTED WITH THE BARRACUDA’S!  ONE OF THE REGIONS LEADING PARTY BANDS OFFERING ELECTIC DANCE, SING ALONG AND ALL AROUND GIT DOWN BOGEYING MUSIC.  JULY 21ST AT THE PLAZA, SEE YOU THERE
